Incredibly fast-paced but in a way that feels like a Twilight-Zone episode. Truly a modern horror that could very well happen some day.

Just. Stunning. And upsetting. And incredible. I’m going to be thinking about this book for days.

This story, much like Kimberly Lemming's other books, was a cool twist on modern fantasy. This was not my favorite entry in the Mead Mishaps series, but it did put a nice bow on the stories of Cin, Brie, and Cherry. The chemistry between the two leads was fast-paced but made sense. The plot left a lot to be desired, and there's an interesting plot point that was never resolved (maybe another book is on the way..?) but other than that, I enjoyed it.

Benedict was the first male lead in this series that didn't infuriate me throughout! Benedict and Sophie had amazing chemistry, but man. Sophie could be so frustrating at times.

I was unable to add the version with the 2nd epilogue (the audiobook) but I seriously enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed the chemistry between Nik and Carlos. The end felt a bit rushed, but it was still satisfying.
