i really really wanted to like this, but this was hard for me to get through. i did appreciate the realistic portrayal of therapy and a genuinely good therapist, which can be rare in fiction. that said, leigh was entirely too insecure, immature, and frankly mean, which made it hard to root for or feel empathetic toward her. overall, felt frustrating and fell flat.
