Didn’t love the ending. Other than that, a fun read!
Editing to add…. I didn’t realize there was a second book so I’m much less disappointed by the ending lololol

I think I just don’t like Crouch’s writing style. The middle/ toward the end dragged for me just like in Dark Matter. I hated that

Helena did not get to participate in saving herself or the world, it was all saved by what’s his face.

Just annoying to me personally. 

This was a solid 4 until the third act when I feel like things just started getting rushed and much less interesting.
