I read this in French, and I'm familiar with the author's work thru her zines of Sgoubidou, which I loved from day 1. The stories are so absurd and funny is hard not to laugh.
Strongly recommend this for both adults and kids.

I wasn't expecting the very graphic sexual descriptions, but it was an interesting read. I liked that it was told from Elio's perspective and you could get a thorough sense of his fears, obsessions and frustrations as a passionate teenager. 
Can't wait to see the film adaptation of the book.
