My Best Friend's Exorcism by Grady Hendrix

Not bad. Liked it better than the Vampire book of his, but was more serious than Horrorstore. If you want to read a less interesting Jennifer's Body I would recommend, but you would be better just watching that movie.
The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

Enjoyed overall, almost a 4 stars. Honestly had an issue with the ending but I think it played out okay. Read really quick too!
Would recommend for those wanting a silly read :)

On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century by Timothy Snyder

I could see some people counting this book as hysteria, but discrediting events in history like that would be ridiculous. Since thus book was written before the events we are seeing now, I think it is still very enlightening. No Trump didn't get a second term, that doesn't make America what some people wish it to be. Both sides of the aisle.
I think this book is still a nice quick read, and still offers good advice and points.

Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn

I really enjoyed this one. I was a fan of Gone Girl, so someone recommended this as well. Don't like this one as much bit it still had many similar plot elements I loved.
Gillian Flynn just has a way of making you love some of these characters and abhor others, truly a talent.
Would recommend to crime thriller fans but would look up trigger warnings if you are sensitive to self harm, familial abuse, and general horror.

Finally trying to get back into reading and updating Goodreads again after a month slump .
This book is incredible, and that is coming from domeone who does not typically enjoy slice of life type books. This book had incredible good perspectives on the wealth gap in America as well as other incredible dysfunctional things about growing up in the United States. If I talked about every single thing this book described aptly I'd be here forever.
Read it please, loved the ending

Read this in high school, the re read only made me love it more.
Funny and sweet look into the lives on angels, demons, and more occult figures during the days up to the apocalypse. Would recommend if you like The Hitchhiker's Guide.
