“We were young together.”
The book is getting returned a but more crinkled than i received it. I spent the latter half of Part Ii of this book crying stopping then crying again.
It drags on a bit in the middle and there are a LOT of references (Sophie would not like it). Some weren’t necessary, some were okay, and few were brilliant. A good chunk of them felt excessive but moments in the second half justify them somewhat.
Overall, the second half really pulled everything together and now I’m going to go call my friends and tell them how much i love them.
