Wow. Just wow.
This is only my second read by Clark, but I cannot wait to read the other books in the series. The world-building and characters in the 1910-ish, futuristic, magical version of Egypt the author creates is incredible. Reading this, I felt the same wonder and excitement I felt reading classic kids’ fantasy books as a child…but for grownups. I so so hope there will be more Agent Fatma books forthcoming!
