The Consequence of Falling by Claire Contreras
4.0
I only lowered my rating a star due to the redundant wording and grammatical/editing errors. Once or twice is understandable, but it was continuous and really drew me away from the story. Otherwise, I really enjoyed Claire's writing style and the characters were intriguing. I look forward to reading more of her work.
Like You Mean It by Jillian Liota

I won a signed copy of this book about 4-5 months ago. Because I'm a busy mom, I rarely get the chance to sit down with an actual paperback book, so it took me quite awhile to pick it up. I finally got the chance and from the moment I started, I couldn't put it down. Every spare moment I had, I had this book in hand. I really loved the characters. Annie is sweet and adorable, but also strong and independent. I love the kind of mother she is, easy going but also a rule enforcer. Cole is a big sweetheart and I think the author wrote his character PERFECTLY. Every situation he was put in was handled with class and that was refreshing to read. He truly was a gentleman. I thought the storyline was unique and well written. It flowed nicely and it never felt like any part was rushed or forced. I thought it was a really great read.
