I cannot believe I have never read this amazing author before now!! She had me hooked from the very beginning. I was immediately excited to see how the plot would unfold, from the very first page. Perrin is truly brilliant! This book is laugh-out-loud funny and I'm pretty sure I was grinning like a sappy fool from beginning to end. Not only was the plot great, but so were the characters. It was amazing at how strongly Perrin developed every single character we came into contact with. There was never a feeling of a generic character merely meant to fluff up the piece and act as a filler. Each character was beautifully created and had a unique voice that greatly benefited the development of the story. I truly couldn't put this book down and will now be reading every one of her novels before moving on.

I absolutely loved this book. To be honest, before starting, I expected it to be one of those cliche, quick reads that you can't really dig into. I was so happy to be proven wrong! The plot development is very authentic and you can easily wrap yourself up in the book. The characters are strong and likeable. I'm very glad I gave this book a chance and will be reading more from Leddy Harper in the future.
