Daisy's Story!

Saving Forever: Yay for Daisy's story! I really took a liking to her in Building Forever and was hoping to hear more from her. The storyline in Saving Forever definitely didn't disappoint and I love how a few details in the first book are now understood by the reader in the second. This is a quick little read, so the story plays out as such. It's fast moving, but still provides enough details to feel like you're getting a developed read with great characters. Can't wait to move onto the next Cary Hart book!

Lovely read

Another fantastic read by Cary Hart. I don't know what it is about this woman, but I just fly right through her books! Her sense of humor is spot on and really brings the characters and book to life. I'm just a sappy fool over here, laughing and swooning my way through the pages. Natalie and Colin are absolutely wonderful, but the true rockstar of the book is Gamms. She gives me life.

I have been in a bit of a book rut. Nothing has kept my attention for very long and it has been taking me days (sometimes weeks!) to get through books. Luckily, Cary was sweet enough to share Love Conquer with me and I feel like I've finally gotten over my slump! I was hooked from the very opening of the prologue and I refused to sleep until I had devoured the whole book. Nina is such a beautifully written and authentic character. I found myself completely wrapped up in her story, holding my breath, feeling her pain and joy. She's such an easy character to fall in love with and root for. I think it's easy for many women to identify a bit of themselves within her, even if they haven't had the same life experiences that she has, which makes this novel a great read for so many. Kyle is nothing short of perfect. I mean, in one of his opening scenes, he not only answers a call from his mother, but even has a sweet conversation with her. If that doesn't give you heart eyes, I don't know what could! He's absolutely adorable and I found myself swooning over him multiple times.
Brandon is also written perfectly. He truly makes your skin crawl, but you can also completely see how easily he smooth talked and manipulated Nina. Every other character is well-written and is a great asset to the development of the story.
Obviously, this book has some very sensitive subject matter; however, I don't feel as though it's overly triggering or traumatizing. Of course, that's for every person to decide for his or her self. For me, this read was more therapeutic than anything, which really is a testament to Cary's talent.
