I enjoyed this, I just felt it a bit repetitive in the end, I could have done with a stronger wrap up, it felt like the author has quite a few ideas of how to end it and instead of marrying them together it just felt really choppy to me.

Otherwise it was a strong effort and I enjoyed it.

It was mid for me.

I think if you're new to Leena Land you'll love this, lots of anecdotes, but sadly I felt I had heard it all before.

Also I perhaps am not the target for this, ideal gift for a young teen starting out on a path of discovery.

Not a groundbreaking book for me, but it was fine.

A whole lot of waffle.
I think the story was okay but also it was around 100 pages longer than it needed to be and honestly felt like all the big reveals were already explained and then it was like the author really wanted to spoon feed the answers to you.

I think it was in parts just very repetitive and though initially I was behind the characters by the end id lost interest.

Anyway, intetgernational trauma porn. Slavery edition.

Enjoyed myself with this one, 2nd book this month that hasn't been particularly difficult to read but also kept me entertained.

Pacing was good, and I didn't feel like it dragged too much.

As she loses her sense of self this is reflected in the chapters and the way she describes the alzhimers is vivid and easy to understand how scary and adrift you must feel.

I enjoyed my time with this, 5 perspectives, family saga, summer drama.

Adultery, betrayal and murder.

Its not what I expected from the cover and was perhaps a bit simple in parts but overall I enjoyed myself and it had a good pace do I didn't find myself bored.

Flew through it.

I enjoyed listening to this audio book I thought it was an excellent take on growing up as an educated  woman and the various paths you can take to feminism and what that can look like to be fully immersed in that world and being political and radically feminist.

And also how time can change how you view the world and how your edges can be softened by the world.

And also about how other people shape you, inspire you but can also break you.

I hope the turtle does outlive us all.

I really enjoyed this cozy book, I thought the characters were cute and the short stories were very sweet.

A real "everything turns out okay in the end" book.

I would say this is the perfect kind of book for evening under a blanket with a cup of tea.

ew. It's literally about incest. THEY ARE BROTHER AND SISTER.

I liked Emily and Robbie's story until I found out the twist.

Solid Zadie Smith.

If you've read any of her other books and like them, this is going to be right up your street.

Two girls, their relationship to dance, each other and how their choices push them through the world, and have them end in totally different spaces.

Its also a love story to dance and musicals and music.

This was an excellent book about a family struggling with a autism diagnosis and how one child can effect the other.

How families through love can end up in risky situations!

How people you think you trust turn out to be not good people, and how you can over come and bloom despite the mistakes.
