It reminded me of 'The City We Became', especially towards the later half. It was reminiscent of it, but also very much it's own unique story. Sometimes cheesy, but I liked it, even the cheesy parts. 

Still a fantastic series. A much needed re-read.

I liked this book, but while reading the last 100 pages, I LOVED this book.
Gross. Scary. Funny. Fucked up.
