I was so-so on this series from the beginning, but this one actually felt like a chore. I found the characters overall unlikeable (but not in the good way that is morally grey) and no one got what I'd actually call a character arc. Even though people died for it, I never actually felt like anything had stakes, because we spent so much time at a crawl of nothing? For a character-driven experience, I honestly couldn't tell you anything deep about a single character.
But at least I stuck around long enough to push through to the ending. Though I'm ultimately left wondering at the why of it.
