the writing and characters and themes and general vibe of the first half were so good and then it just got kind of dull. also wasnt a fan of the shift to first person i really liked the narrators voice first half

so much of this teeters on the brink of being interesting but overall was just kind of tame. probably most disappointing is how weak circe’s characterisation was her whole character seemed to be reduced to the things happening around her. which maybe was the point idk.
