I read it in one sitting! It flowed easily and kept interest even if in some points it could be a little confusing.

It was certainly interesting following Dr Viktor Larenz in his invastigation of his daughter's disappearance, but you have to pay attention.

Roughly, the book is divided in three parts. The part where Joelle arrives at Lovell and meets Luke, the part where the two are looking for her parents and the last one has to do with everything that happens between them.

It wasn't the kind of spicy romance book that I expected, but it certainly didn't disappoint. It was more plot-based than I expected, darker and slower, but not unpleasant. There's a constant struggle for dominance between Joelle and Luke and in that struggle they both make mistakes that have to confront and solve in order to be together.

Two short, funny stories. That's all.

I've read many comics with this theme and this one stood out to me. It was well made, compared to others, solid plot, balanced between seriousness and comicallity. Personally I found also more realistic than others.

-The book contains many typo mistakes, be warned!
-It had a good plot, about the dispute between dragons and humans.
-Not really a fan of the full submission of Summer, but she makes it work.
-Before you judge it as rapey or whatever and underrate it, know that it's about a specific portion of people that consent and like this concept. I didn't like the relationship dynamic that much, but I knew what I was reading, if it didn't have so many typo mistakes, I'd give it a 4/5.

Roughly, a third of the book takes place at the siege of Famagusta by the Ottoman Empire, one third at the Cornaro Castle and one in the sea. Captain Tempesta is an Italian Duchess who donned armour and pretended to be a man in search of her fiancé who was captured by the Turks.

The dispute between Christians and Muslims at the time is explicit, each considering the other infidels or renegades (if for any reason abandoned their former faith).

It tells about loyalty, honour and bravery as well as lighthearted faith, malice and dishonesty. I don't want to spoil your read, so the only thing I'll say further is that I was surprised by the realistic depiction of "love" and war.
