I thought I’d love this based on the premise but it just fell flat for me. I feel really put off whenever books use too many terms that the average person won’t get. The writing didn’t induce any anxiety or tension for me, like thrillers usually do. Honestly I was bored throughout.
I usually find it hard to put thrillers down and tend to finish them in one or two sittings but this book took me 13 sittings to get through as it just didn’t grip me at all, I didn’t feel invested in the story or the characters unfortunately!
