I read And the Band Played On this summer. That book chronicled the early days of HIV/AIDS in the United States. No Time to Lose gives a worldwide perspective on HIV/AIDS, particularly from the point of view of developing countries. Also, Piot was one of the first scientists to see Ebola under a microscope and to work with the disease on the ground in Africa, so it is a very timely book.
