Read to satisfy the HRCYED "read a completed webcomic" prompt! Perfectly cute and read just like watching a pretty low angst kdrama. The expected eye rolling at certain miscommunications and excessive heteronormativity but I do get swept up lol. Also a little too many b-plot romances.

Very compelling story with a lot to say about beauty - and not just physical beauty. The writing was really effective, especially in the first half of the book. I wanted this to be perfect for me but I struggled a bit with the dialogue and some of the scooby doo villian monologueish disclosure of the mystery at hand.

Not sure how to really review this - I am so grateful to have read it and in turn become a little less ignorant of the tragedies inflicted on Puerto Rico. You should read this, you should encourage others to read this, or at the very least read up on the subject. Excellently crafted and extremely engaging.

Such a punch to my heart - I resonates so much with Lopez and his rumination on identity. I also really loved the sort of vignette style format this book used. It helped to balance the dark and the sad with the levity and the thoughtful which meant you can take it in tiny sips.

Ugh omg I truly deeply love the characters in this book and I know my heart will only be broken in time. I love the Fool and am so so interested to know more. I adore how slow paced and carefully plotted this series is so far and how vast I know the story will end up being. I so appreciate the balance of this story - the stakes are extremely high and the topics serious without being gratuitously violent and while maintaining moments of love, hope, and levity. Can't wait to finish off this trilogy and continue in the Realm!! (also we all agree that Verity is super hot right?)

Pretty cute and very festive loose retelling of You've Got Mail. Fun for the season and I really appreciated the representation but ultimately a little too sentimental for my personal tastes!
