I don't really have the words to describe how deeply this book impacted me. I first read it in high school and find myself re-visiting it often. It is honest, it is beautiful, it will move you.

I read this before my freshman year of undergrad, when I was still hell bent on becoming a doctor. I remember reading this and thinking "wow that's exactly what i want to do". so, this is the book that made me want to become a lawyer. It moved me so much that I changed my entire career path and that's a testament to the emotional, insightful story that Bryan tells. Please read this, I'm begging.
