A little 3/5 as this wasn’t bad and I even liked some elements a lot but this was never gripping, not a page turner at all and took too long to introduce some stuff. I even spent like 3 days on the last 100 pages and almost dnf’d even though I powered through the rest.

It’s not perfect but it’s not aiming to be, it’s the perfect cosy read to think of something else without too much stress or high stakes. Many things were maybe too easy or convenient, but I had a good time reading this and that’s what this book aspires to do. At first I was afraid the romance would be too present but it ended up not annoying me at all.
