I read this book In one day,... it's a fantastic read that enthralled me totaly. I loved mr King's world building and his prose incredibly quoffable.

     A fantastic edition to Lovecrafts work exceptional world building had be tense and eager to read more.


The Shadow Over Innsmouth (4.8/5☆)

     A great enticing read, as always, Lovecraft's world building and character studies are incredibly detailed. Loved it.

The Thing on the Doorstep (4.5/5☆)

     An enjoyable page turning read!

1. The Nameless City (3/5☆)

     A nice short story in the classic Lovecraftian style regarding an adventure who delves to deep.

2. Herbert West - Reanimator (4/5☆)

     A classic Lovecraft tale of un-naultural affairs regarding the dead.

3. The Hound (3.75/5☆)

      Grave robbers faced with the irony of their craft, a great readable tale.

4. The Lurking Fear (5/5☆)

     A truly shivering tale which left me checking the corners of my illuminated room. A truly terrifying read, I truly enjoyed every second reading it. 

5. The Rats in the Walls (2/5☆)

     A confusing addition in Lovecraft's compendium. Interesting  world build however falls flat with a confusing and abrupt ending.

6. The Festival (2.75/5☆)

     Yet another short eddition to this copy, not much to mention.



7. The Shunned House (3.75/5☆)

     When an uncle and his nephew delve deep into creepy happenings of the last 1,500 years a horror appears and changes everything. 

8. The Horror at Red Hook (3/5☆)

     Horror in red hook connects an old man with suddenly appearing immigrants comes to a head when a murder occurs followed by strange happenings. 

9. He (3.5/5☆)

     A creepy tale depicting an author set on a travel of inspiration ends up getting more than he margins for. 

10. The Call of Cthulhu (2.75/5☆)

     Not what I expected but a good story nonetheless.

1. The Dunwich Horror

     A facinating read into the eldrich horrors of a small town and its eldrich and ritualistic dark growth. This book is a great read for those looking for a dark and cleverly composed story. 

3/5  - Comprised of 54 Pages 22% of the book



2. The Whisperer in Darkness 

     A creepy read written nearly entirely in letters and telegrams between two persons talking about the un-nerving and unsettling Horrors developing in remote Virginia. The story comes to ahead when the two finally meet.

3.25/5 - Comprised of 79 Pages 33% of the book



3. The shadow out of Time

     Wow, Wow and Wow,... what to say an absolutely thrilling and page turning read. I must admit I loved this if not for its use of unsettling racial slurs all too common with Mr Lovecrafts work. But S*%t me what a read where consious and subconscious blurs,... this will live rent free in my mind for quite awhile. 

4.5/5 - Comprised of 79 Pages 33% of the book 



4. The Hunter of the Dark

     A great story for those who like gothic horror entwined with and eldrich undertone
