First of, Thank you to Kim over at Berkely, PRH for sending me an early copy of this book! She knows me SO well.

As someone who missed the release of Collide in both indie and tradpub I wasn't sure how I would like the off the ice series. However after after reading Spiral I can day that WHATEVER Bal Khabra writes, I will read!
The way thing book made me giggles, kick my feet, laugh and cry is like a breath of fresh air in the sports romance genre.

Did I read the back? No
Did I think this was sapphic love story? Yes
Was it? No.

The two character swap houses over the holidays to avoid their family issues and take time to sort out what is missing in their lives.
I do think this was more of Clovers story than Bees. I'd really love to see what the author could do with a solo, queer coming of age/ coming out story.
The narrators  were amazing and each character had their own voice and life.

I was tricked into reading this book by my brother. I did not know what I was getting myself into.  I did complain the entire time I was reading (I was sick and confused but I still loved it)

Second chance romance
Lesbians
QUEER Christmas (Cherry Queery Christmas)

At this point in my life, is AHB writes it, I will read it and most likely love it.  This book did make me want to go to Colorado in the winter!
