Not the best thing ever but a solid entertaining read.
I still don't buy the romance one bit though.

Okay, this book wasn't bad but it had some elements that I no not enjoy at all

SPOILERS

lactation kink, male pregnancy, shifted sex.

Luckily for me the stepfather element wasn't really there. There was no real parent - child bond between them so it wasn't that taboo
His Boss for Christmas by Alessandra Hazard

This was quite short and I would have liked a longer ending but all in all I really enjoyed it! It has my favourite type of dynamic in Hazard's repertoire and the neediness that I crave from her books.

This book isn't bad per se but it was fan service Mixed with shadow man and syndacater mystery plot. The latter was interesting at first but in the third section it went downhill: the pacing was rough and the reveals were nonsensica..
I'd still recommend it to fans of the series but know that this book is a notch down to the previous ones (for me) and it felt like a second book for Lyla and the Shadow man (which I thought was the right choice by the way).

If you want to read a great review of this book read ruinpeach's one. It sums up the book perfectly.

I received an ARC for this book.

This was a very pleasant read. It was heartwarming and cute while still having quite a bit of conflict and tension (them not waiting for a reason or another to be together. I still wouldn't call this book angsty).
The relationship was mostly cute with one of them being a dork and the other a closed-off softie.
