Honestly, I started this book because I needed a fix after watching the first part of Bridgerton season 3. This is one of the few times I can say the show was way better than the book. I hate Colin in this book. The way he grabs Pen by the arm when he is mad and has no recollection that he’s being rough with her and also he talks about wanting to kill her when she makes him mad… all red flags for me. This is why I never read regency romance.
