Navigating Noah by Jaclyn Quinn
Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
I'm disappointed I couldn't finish "Navigating Noah," the latest book I picked up. I was anticipating an exciting romance between Noah and Hunter. However, despite my best efforts, I couldn't connect with the characters or the setting. While it's possible that reading the previous books in the series would have helped, I think a standalone story should be able to stand on its own.
That being said, I did appreciate the relationship between Hunter and his son Logan. It was heartwarming to see their bond grow slowly. Unfortunately, the other characters in the story were not as likable, and I found them to be more of a distraction than a complement to the plot. As a result, I couldn't see myself invested in the romance between Noah and Hunter.
Overall, I was disappointed with "Navigating Noah" the fourth book in the "Shore Thing" series. While others may enjoy it more, I found it harder and harder to root for the main couple and ultimately had to put the book down.
