Girls Like Us by Cristina Alger was a quick suspense read perfect for my reading goals! This is Alger’s latest book and the first I’ve read by her. What I enjoyed most about this true crime read was that it was a slow burn. With every page the story builds and by the end all the loose ends are tied up!

What happens when the primary suspect is your father? FBI agent Nell Flynn returns home after ten years when her father is killed in a motorcycle accident. From there she’s pulled into an investigation into a murder of two girls in Suffolk County. The further Nell digs, the more likely it seems that her father might be involved.

The answers are revealed and whoa was it good! Nell is the perfect protagonist and I would read so many books written from her POV!
