This was a mix between the hunger games and a dating show, and I'm not sure if it worked. There was good parts and not so good parts. The characters were ok, the names were a bit odd. America was OK, but annoying, I guess she acts like a teenager, which she is, but it was eye rolling at times. I feel like the idea has some potential, and I'm invested in the series now, so I'm sure I will be reading the next book.
