Animal Farm is a good reflection upon what makes and unmakes revolutions, especially how twisted the mind can become with power. It does a great job at underlying how propaganda works, and I like the idea of using animals to depict themes that are in turns very human (class segregation, etc). Ironically, I didn't find it that revolutionary, it was great at doing what it wanted to do, but didn't exactly leave a mark on me as much as others books might have. I would have to add that it's a very funny read, which took me by surprise and made it into a quick&enjoyable read.
