Seveneves by Neal Stephenson
1.0
(read a ebook)
I read about 50% of Seveneves before stopping. This was my second attempt to read the book. The first time I go about 10% of the way through. That time, I stopped due to the excruciating descriptions of the living conditions of the first set of "Scouts".
With my second attempt, it was again the overly long technical descriptions that were killing me (with boredom). The characters are also pretty flat. Story pretty meh. The book reminds me a lot of the Mars Trilogy by Kim Stanley Robinson, not in a good way.
