So, when some friends found out I'd never read a Jodi Picoult book, one of them told me this should be the one I start with. I requested it on Libby and went in 100% blind. OH. MY. GOSH. This book is excellent, like even more than excellent, so whatever that is. Do not read spoilers, it's best if your jaw hits the floor like mine did, and when you get to that point, you'll absolutely know it. I had no idea Picoult was a twisty writer, I thought she was just Lit Fic, which is fine, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. For real, this book is very powerful and I learned a lot, about honey, life, being a woman in many different capacities. It was perfection. I'm late to the Picoult party, but I will read more for sure.
