This volume picks up about a month after the Auction Sweep. The QS is faced with another case concerning the Rosewald family. Kanae played a pretty central role in this volume as he tries to help a depressed Shu.
I was very excited to see Shu again and I look forward to him stirring up memories from the past by going back to see Touka and the others from Anteiku, and approaching Haise. This volume dragged a little in comparison to the previous one which was very action heavy, and I don’t care that much about Kanae yet unfortunately. Even more new characters from within the CCG were introduced and I’m really struggling to keep track of all the names.
Was that Amon who saved Saiko or am I reaching too far? I’m really curious about what happened to him — was he also turned into a half ghoul like Takizawa?
