”I want to feel love in its every form. I used to be scared of it, but now I think love is another type of magic. It makes everything brighter, it makes people who have it stronger, it breaks rules that aren’t supposed to exist, it’s infinitely valuable. I can’t imagine my life without it.” ~ Donnatella Dragna

🌶️
I definitely prefer reading from Donatella’s perspective. While the back and forth between Tella and Legend can become a bit repetitive, it makes perfect sense for their characters and didn’t feel unnecessary. Scarlett’s storyline, particularly the first part, felt somewhat unnecessary in hindsight, but it was fun to read, even if it didn’t last long. I appreciated how Garber decided to portray that storyline, especially since I wasn’t thrilled with how it was introduced at the end of Legendary. I loved how fiercely Julian and Scarlett showed their love for each other, and I think their love story had the perfect ending. I’m looking forward to reading Jacks’ love story next, though it won’t be happening until next year.
