I really cannot say enough good things about this book! Unfortunately when I write reviews I always second guess what I say, so I will do my best to express my love.

From the moment I opened the pages, I read voraciously, wanting to see what would happen next! The characters are extremely well written, which makes the reader truly invested in their lives. I actually found myself tearing up as the plot progressed! Do not start this book before bedtime...you won't sleep.

Katniss, the main character, is such a spunky protagonist. I loved every minute of her narratives and was rooting for her throughout. As an educator, despite the brutality of this book, I would fully recommend it to any of my students!

Thank you Suzanne Collins and I cannot wait for the third book!
