It took me a while to finish because of life stuff cropping up, but I thought this book was wonderful. Every time I had an opportunity to pick it up I never wanted to put it down. The writing is dark, mesmerizing, and poetic. The illustrations add a richness to the already fantastical tone. I don’t want to give anything away, but I do recommend reading this book. You won’t regret it.
