Dark Archives: A Librarian's Investigation Into the Science and History of Books Bound in Human Skin by Megan Rosenbloom

3.0

For such a macabre topic, the book is curiously flat and plain; that’s perhaps part of the point, as the author stresses that the history of books bound in human skin is filled with fewer monsters and more nerdy doctors. Still, it’s hard not to be disappointed when you were expecting something nasty.
