I'm quite disappointed with this book as I really enjoyed 'the Wedding Officer' by the same author, and this was nothing like it. the characters were hard and not emotional enough for me and it times I nearly gave up, but kept going when I thought it would improve. I had absolutely no sympathy for Louise or Carlo as they both seemed so proud and hard. Shame but as it based on truth I guess they were probably really like that.
