The Last Continent by Terry Pratchett

4.0

I actually enjoyed this much more the second time. I used a little more brainpower, and some Googling, to get more of the references. This has now become my favorite in the Rincewind series, followed by his travels with Cohen.

If you enjoyed the Rincewind/Cohen book (there is no Cohen and his cohorts here), grab it. It is also the cleanest combination of Rincewind and the Wizards' story lines, where it doesn't feel forced, or like there is a last-minute "oh yeah, let me roll this up."

There is also much more mystery in this story, much more to find out later, as opposed to learning all but how the "final battle" will go. For Pratchett, this is I think one of the cleaner novels.
