The was the book of the summer for me!! It’s a complicated love story- like a right person wrong time. It includes all my favorite troupes: enemies to lovers, second chance romance, summer love. Juliet currently lives at her boyfriend’s home with his parents after they took her in due to a bad situation in her home. They have provided a safe place for her. She feels like she owes them everything for taking her in giving her a place to live. Danny brings home his best friend Luke. She starts to realize Luke really sees her. He sees her ambition, hopes and dreams and wants her to go after that. The love story of Juliet and Luke is my favorite of this summer.
