Sea of Tranquility by Emily St. John Mandel
5.0
Well, I just loved this. I loved how the story tied up, I loved the language (and copied down several passages), and I loved revisiting characters from a previous novel. I'd heard an interview where Emily St. John Mandel said that this novel was born out of the stories she told her daughter during the pandemic; you can see the influence of the pandemic -- in obvious ways, and in more subtle ways -- throughout. 5 stars. I wish I could read it again for the first time.
