I am in LOVE with this series! I adored the Chosen series, so imagine my surprise when I went to reread it and found out there was another series set in the same universe? 
 
This one has its own Big Mystery, a complete badass for an FMC, and a Black Cat and German Shepherd type for the MMCs. 
 
Storytelling is A+ (bc it’s Stacy Jones so ofc it is) and the writing is great. The aliens look like aliens and have interesting and unique cultures and beliefs, which is always a good time. 
 
Loved the Hunger Games vibes and the Chosen character throwback (hoping she gets home to her little gremlins). Just. Everything was wonderful. Five stars and starting the next book as soon as I post this.
