this had a slow start, and then it picked up in the middle and then was slow again. there was nothing wrong with this book at all (other than the writing being a little cringe at times) but I just felt no strong connection to isabel and taylor's relationship. i cant explain it but taylor just felt like a side character. hoping the other ones are better
