More like 4.5 stars!

I don't want to give too much away, so I keep my review "short" (haha good joke!) but let me just tell you: It's an amazing read and I absolutely loved it! I even finished it in one sitting!

The characters are gorgeous, realistic and very likeable. Especially Lilly was admirable. She's such a strong girl with an amazing personality and I really loved her. I don't think I would have reacted the way she has at some points but that just proves how much she loved Colton - because whatever happened, she was always by his side. Always there for him. And to be honest, I felt a little bad for her ... it was always about him and that he feels comfortable and good. But what about Lilly? She never once thought about herself and yet she refered to her as being selfish.

"She's paint by number; you're a watercolor."

Colton has always been "different" and when Lilly came into his life when they were kids everything changed. He never forgot her. Not even when they stopped seeing each other and Lilly already "forgot" about him. But that shouldn't be the end of their story - they found each other again and became closer than they ever were. Lilly helped Colton wherever she could and "makes everything right in his world."

He was very frustrating at times although that's just him and how he is but it was so good to see his development when he was with Lilly! I liked him a lot and he made me teary at some points and really, really happy at others. *sigh*

In general I couldn't stop making weird noises while I read the book! It's funny and sweet but also sad and serious and everything seemed so real. Amber Johnson did a very good job, I think! It's definitely worth a read, trust me! ♥
