The Redbreast by Jo Nesbø
3.0
This is my third Nesbo book. I read The Snowman and The Leopard. I think he is a fanatstic writer. He really takes care to complete the story and all of its ins and outs. Sometimes drawing it out a bit too much. I tried Redbreat because I was hoping for something a little different earlier in the series. The formula was getting repetitive. Nesbo's later books have a handful of plausible suspects they end up apprehending and then you find out it isn't that person over and over and then the final person is someone you kind of suspected all along. Redbreat didn't have the cast of suspects but the premise used a standard go to **spolier alert** split personality disorder. I liked meeting Racquel for the first time and understanding better why Hole felt so responsible for the harm he brought those closest to him.
