Where do I start? This book was incredibly written. The way the author captured what it was like in the 50s as an Asian woman was so heartbreaking. Even in today's society what those women in this book went through is still prevalent. They want to be accepted by society, they want to have it all because money must mean happiness. I thoroughly loved every moment of this book. It's going into my favorite reads this year. Absolutely heartbreaking, magical, and lovely.
