"I have duct tape.
Ordinary duct tape, like you buy at a hardware store. Turns out even NASA can't improve on duct tape."
"Yes, of course duct tape works in a near-vacuum. Duct tape works anywhere. Duct tape is magic and should be worshiped."
I wondered if I could enjoy a book about one man alone on Mars. And I definitely did enjoy it because it wasn’t just any man, but Mark Watney. His sarcasm and humour was so precious and his big brain so hot.
A disaster after disaster, he finds a way and with his brain filled with science.
“What must it be like?" He pondered. "He's stuck out there. He thinks he's totally alone and that we all gave up on him. What kind of effect does that have on a man's psychology?"
He turned back to Venkat. "I wonder what he's thinking right now."
