Claire, a fledgling artist, and part time serial killer. She’s morning the death of her father when she gets an email explaining she’s been shortlisted for some art recognition. This would be great for her art and career and she gets really excited, telling friends and family. Unfortunately, the email was sent in error, and Lucas, the sender, will live to regret it.
Claire decides to meet Lucas for drinks before killing him. What she doesn’t understand is that someone is watching her and will attempt to blackmail her to keep her secrets. Who would blackmail a serial killer? In this story you would be surprised! Literally no one is as they seem and this story twists more than a tornado in south Georgia. We follow Claire as she deep dives everyone in Lucas’s circle attempting to find out who is blackmailing her and what they actually know.

Claire has almost sapphic feelings for one of the female characters, meets a nurse that is torturing senior citizens in a nursing home, a stressed out mother, and a kidnapper - this is just a few! Not to mention Claires own story arc where she may, or may not, overcome her murderous tendencies. This was a ride! If you like story’s about women coming out of the box on folks - this is your jam.
