My ONLY complaint about this book is that it left us on a cliffhanger(that I was well informed was coming and I agreed to read anyway). But I’m still going to complain.
Katelyn Taylor has a way with building these super dark and twisted worlds with complex characters that from glance would be considered the bad guy but have some redeeming qualities deep(and sometimes not so deep) down. I love that as we get deeper into this secret society we just keep collecting men for Skyla. Like, I’m here for it girl. Do your thing.
If you’re looking for a book with some serious spice, this series is for you. It’s action packed, in more ways than one, but also a little scary. You just have to push through, which isn’t hard considering this book is so engaging. I started this book yesterday and literally had to force myself to go to bed. I then finished it today. Less than 24 hours and I’m drooling, just waiting here for the next one.
