Savage Lover by Sophie Lark

My favorite thing about this whole book is that Nero has this element of mystery surrounding him throughout the first two books and I feel like that essence is maintained in this story. You learn more about Nero from his story and POV, but I feel like you don't learn everything he is thinking and feeling. Normally I feel like that would make you feel not as connected to a character, but somehow this works. I love that. It makes total sense for who he is. While this is a mafia story and there is still crime and violence, it felt relatively mild compared to the others so far. Camille is so strong, independent, and genuine. She truly just wants to be loved and to love someone unconditionally in return. I feel as though Nero and Camille found themselves within each other.
