If this was longer, with a bit more descriptions and a slower pace, I think it could be a 5 star read for me. I enjoyed the out of body feeling it evoked, as well as the introspection and the ultimate conclusion. Leaving things open allowed the reader to see themselves as the main character and come to conclusions just as the MC did through their journey.

It was certainly an interesting read, evocative of Alice in Wonderland and other books where reality is just distorted enough that you never fully feel at home in the world created (but in a good way).

Again, it just wasn't quite enough as a short story to rate higher. I didn't necessarily want more answers, but I wanted more time and details of the spheres.

Very good book and one I will likely come back to in the future.
