I received an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book gave me major beauty and the beast vibes and I can't say enough how much I loved it. I especially liked how instead of the female being the innocent inexperienced one, this time it was the male who was the virgin.

The main characters are well developed and we get to see their relationship develop and adapt as they get to know one another through the story.

Not only negative I have about the book is during the first chapter there is a connection made between having dreadlocks and a person not showering and even though the locs are not on a POC I still didn't like the scene. It made me uncomfortable.
